Traveling Superintendent (Projects in FL, AL, GA, TN, and CO)
Job Summary
The Superintendent oversees day-to-day field operations on assigned construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. This role leads field crews, coordinates subcontractors, and serves as the primary on-site point of contact.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and material deliveries.
Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Monitor project schedules and drive timely completion of milestones.
Maintain quality control and ensure work meets plans and specifications.
Communicate regularly with Project Managers regarding progress, issues, and resource needs.
Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation.
Foster a productive and professional jobsite environment.
Qualifications
5+ years of field supervision experience in construction (MEP experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and safety regulations.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
