Product Marketing Manager

WatchGuard Technologies, Seattle, WA, United States

Overview

A Day in the Life Your day begins with responding to a few emails and catching up on the latest cybersecurity news. You review requests for content support for local marketing events, create the piece, and send it off for translation. You then join meetings to review product status, update the product launch plan, adjust messaging and use case coverage, and begin building launch deliverables, request resources, and set deadlines. You collaborate with the Creative and Web teams to review a revamped webpage designed to reinforce the product’s competitive differentiators and plan copy and graphics together. After lunch, you continue with training content for the field team and partners, focusing on positioning the upcoming release, the use cases covered by the new features, and how the features differentiate the product from the competition. You check in with the Sales Engineering Lead to get feedback on positioning and value demonstration challenges, update materials, and note changes to the demo story. You finish the day by preparing slides with key status updates and action items for an upcoming release to share in the weekly product launch meeting. Position Responsibilities
