What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Consult on complex Absence and Disability Management projects including FMLA, ADA Pay, and various employer-sponsored leave programs
Serve as the primary contact for the client service team, ensuring effective communication and project delivery
Manage project plans and oversee day-to-day deliverables, ensuring quality standards are met
Develop trusted advisor relationships with internal stakeholders and contribute to new tools and approaches
Stay current on industry trends and legislation, sharing knowledge with clients and team members
What is Required (Qualifications)
BA/BS degree in a related field
5-10 years of experience in the design and management of group disability and absence management plans
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver quality results on time
Strong knowledge of compliance and quality assurance protocols related to leave and disability management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience training or mentoring junior staff
Strong analytical and creative skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce
Background in the group insurance industry, particularly in disability insurance and absence management
