Overview

LHH is partnering with a

well‑established, California‑based AmLaw 200 legal firm

to hire a

Marketing Manager . This role is a leadership position within the firm’s Marketing Department and supports firmwide marketing strategy, campaign execution, and team oversight across marketing and events channels. The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with attorneys, practice group leaders, and senior marketing leadership to drive brand awareness, relationship building, and lead generation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings

7+ years of professional services marketing experience , strong events and communication skills, and prior experience managing or mentoring marketing staff. Familiarity with legal marketing is strongly preferred. This is a

fully onsite position

based in Anaheim, California with some travel (15%) to legal events. The role offers a competitive salary between

$100,000-$130,000

depending on experience, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced legal environment with long‑term growth potential.

Responsibilities

Serve as a central communications partner to attorneys and practice groups, ensuring clear, consistent, and professional messaging across all marketing materials and channels. Develop and oversee written and visual communications including emails, website content, presentations, invitations, and client‑facing materials, maintaining brand and tone consistency. Lead the planning and execution of legal marketing events, seminars, webinars, sponsorships, and client programs, managing timelines, logistics, vendors, materials, and follow‑up. Coordinate closely with attorneys and internal stakeholders to support event messaging, attendee communications, and post‑event outreach. Manage marketing campaigns and initiatives across digital and traditional channels, ensuring deadlines, approvals, and deliverables are met. Track engagement and performance metrics related to campaigns and events, and provide reporting to support continuous improvement. Support day‑to‑day marketing operations and team collaboration, contributing to a well‑organized, responsive, and high‑service marketing function.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 7+ years of marketing experience , ideally within professional services or a legal environment. Demonstrated success developing and executing marketing strategies tied to business development goals. Strong leadership, project management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities. Analytical mindset with experience using marketing performance and reporting tools. Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously. Knowledge of legal industry marketing and advertising standards is a plus. Ability to work fully onsite (no remote or hybrid option).
