
Document Specialist

Job Summary
SPX Flow is looking for a Document Specialist & Project Coordinator who will be responsible for managing the customer documentation requirements of projects within the SPX Project Management Team. The SPX Project Management Team coordinates a highly detailed array of documentation across their customer base, managed according to the appropriate deadlines as set by the negotiated scope of work. The Document Specialist & Project Coordinator assists the Project Managers by ensuring that all documentation requirements are met and delivered according to the defined scope.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
Coordinate documentation workflow between Customer and internal SPX FLOW Depts
Principle contact with Customer on document/drawing submittals and returns; (approval process)
Distribute documentation to Customer according to agreed Vendor Documentation Requirement List (VDRL/SDRL) via agreed channels (platforms, emails, drop site, portals, SP)
Control submitted documentation to be in line with Customer requirements and in compliance with internal regulations
Collect and review internal testing documents, WPS, calibrations, procedures, technical documentation for general accuracy and make sure consistent across all documentation packages.
Complete Customer templates for cover pages and transmittal forms
Scan relevant documentation from supplier, sub supplier, or engineering data for submittal
Print Customer documentation required for on-site inspection
Management of the final sales order files
Submit documentation for translation to other languages for international orders
Attend weekly meetings with Customers for document review, as required
Compile Customer Manufacturing Record Books (MRB), as required.
Manage IOM documentation internally, track to closure (final documentation), and coordinate 3rd party printing of IOM manuals when necessary.

Education And Experience
Associate degree in a Business-Related Discipline, minimum.
Bachelor degree in a Business or Technical Related Discipline, preferred.
3+ years work experience in a manufacturing office-based setting will be considered in lieu of education.

The employee can be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration and loud noise level while on the production floor. The noise level in the office work environment is usually moderate.

Salary Anticipated salary range for this position: $75,000-$85,000 + bonus. The anticipated salary range is what we believe to be the likely base salary range for this position at the time of posting. Actual salary for this position will depend on relevant qualifications, skills, and experience.
