
Document Management Specialist

We are currently seeking a dedicated Document Management Specialist to support our Project Team.
In this role within our Nuclear Project Team, you'll play a vital part in coordinating and administering document management activities, overseeing the identification, control, and modification of project-related documents. Your responsibilities will include tracking the life cycle of documents and records, ensuring all revisions are accurately logged—including Design documents, RFIs, and submittals. Furthermore, you will handle additional document and record management tasks, working closely with internal Jacobs team members, clients, and external consultants.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:
Establishing, managing, and maintaining document control systems for all historical, incoming, and outgoing documents related to the project.
Reviewing documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contract requirements.
Ensuring all documents adhere to production standards.
Serving as a Subject Matter Expert for the implemented document control systems.
Training project participants in the effective use of these systems.
Handling general administrative tasks within the document control function, such as data entry, user training, and maintenance of internal process documentation.

A minimum of 7 years of Document Control experience with nuclear, engineering, architectural, and construction documents (including drawings, technical specifications, submittals, RFIs, etc.).
Willingness to work in the office 2-3 days a week.
Demonstrated experience with Aconex, SharePoint, industry-standard EDMS, and MS Office.
Able to travel within the US approximately 25% of the time.
Ideally, you will also possess: A Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Strong communication skills and a good grasp of technical terminology.
