A well-established and growing general contractor based in the Saratoga Springs area is currently seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join their team. The company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential and commercial construction projects and is known for maintaining a collaborative, safety-focused work environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on superintendent who enjoys managing projects from the field and working closely with subcontractors, project managers, and clients to deliver successful builds.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day construction site operations to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
Enforce site safety procedures and OSHA compliance
Monitor project schedules, progress, and quality control throughout the construction process
Work closely with project managers, estimators, and office staff to maintain smooth project delivery
Conduct regular site meetings and progress updates with stakeholders
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent managing commercial and/or residential projects
Strong understanding of construction scheduling, site coordination, and subcontractor management
Ability to manage multiple moving parts on active construction sites
Familiarity with local building codes and construction standards
