Role Overview Seeking an experienced
Construction Superintendent
to manage day-to-day field operations on commercial and retail interior projects throughout NYC. Responsible for site execution, safety, schedule, and subcontractor coordination from start through close-out.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily on-site construction activities and trade coordination
Maintain project schedule and sequencing in fast-track environments
Enforce OSHA, NYC DOB, and site safety requirements
Conduct daily site walks and quality control inspections
Coordinate DOB/building inspections and manage site logistics
Track progress, maintain daily reports, and support punch-list/close-out Requirements
5+ years Superintendent experience on
commercial or retail interior fit-outs
Strong knowledge of
NYC DOB codes, inspections, and urban logistics
Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
OSHA 30 required (SST / OSHA 62 preferred)
Procore or similar CM software experience
