As a Customer Experience Consultant, you will be empowered to deliver an exceptional experience for our Customers by acting as a supportive guide throughout their CarMax journey. What you will do - Essential Responsibilities
Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers at every stage, including sales, appraisals, test drives, and financing applications.
Conduct thorough vehicle assessments, collecting and communicating information to Buyers to aid in appraisals.
Check in and process vehicles received at CarMax, ensuring accurate scanning and reconciliation of inventory.
Perform cosmetic inspections to guarantee that all vehicles meet CarMax Quality Standards.
Handle various administrative tasks such as generating daily reports, maintaining transaction paperwork, and managing customer contracts with finance companies.
Coordinate service appointments and review repair order invoices to ensure billing accuracy for retail service work performed.
Purpose of the role
This dynamic retail sales environment requires you to work collaboratively within a team to achieve goals and manage a variety of customer interactions. Building rapport quickly and understanding customer needs are essential for success. You will oversee numerous tasks independently, including vehicle sales, processing paperwork, and assessing vehicles for appraisals while also managing repair orders. Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in sales and customer service, particularly within retail, is preferred.
A valid Driver's License.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is preferred.
