What You'll Do As the Human Resources Specialist, you will support hiring, employee relations, compliance, and HR operations across the company.
Key Responsibilities Include
Maintain and manage job postings across hiring platforms
Conduct candidate prescreen interviews and coordinate interviews with department leaders
Manage the onboarding process for new hires and ensure a smooth first-day experience
Assist with payroll review and coordinate corrections with department managers
Research and maintain competitive compensation and benefits information
Respond to employee concerns and support employee relations matters in a timely and professional manner
Assist with employee performance reviews, documentation, and counseling processes
Coordinate workers' compensation claims and maintain personnel file accuracy
Maintain confidential employee records and ensure HR policy compliance
Support updates to company policies, procedures, and job descriptions
Assist with company events, meetings, and employee engagement initiatives
Stay informed on employment laws and HR compliance requirements
What We're Looking For
High school diploma required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, or related field preferred
Previous human resources, recruiting, or administrative experience
Strong organizational and time management skills
High level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters professionally
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working independently and navigating difficult conversations when needed
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Prior leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
