The

Senior Brand Strategist

will translate strategic positioning into compelling brand narrative, emotional territory, and scalable creative platforms. This role sits within the Creative organization and operates at the intersection of Strategic Product Marketing, Research, and Creative execution.

You will help shape the brand’s North Star narrative and ensure it is expressed consistently and distinctively across campaigns, channels, and customer touchpoints.

The role serves two key functions within the team:

Enabling the evolution of Product Marketing toward strategic positioning and category leadership

Ensuring creative exploration remains grounded in a clear narrative system and brand positioning

This role is ideal for someone who is both strategic and narrative-driven, with a track record of turning positioning into story systems that drive memorability, differentiation, and performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop narrative frameworks that allow Creative teams to explore bold ideas while staying anchored in brand positioning

Translate positioning into cohesive brand narratives and belief systems

Define emotional territory and brand POV

Help establish voice and tone principles that guide storytelling

Build Creative Platforms

Create strategic guardrails that enable Creative teams to push the brand into new storytelling territory while maintaining strategic coherence

Develop scalable creative platforms rooted in the brand’s North Star

Define campaignable story territories and thematic directions

Champion unconventional thinking that elevates the brand beyond category norms while maintaining clarity of positioning

Partner with Creative Directors, writers, and designers to guide campaign development

Distill strategic inputs into compelling creative briefs

Define the core tension, insight, and emotional angle for key campaigns

Drive Brand Impact

Partner with research and performance teams to identify patterns in effective storytelling

Help evolve platforms based on creative effectiveness insights

Ensure brand differentiation is visible and consistent across customer touchpoints

QUALIFICATIONS

8–12 years of experience in brand strategy, creative strategy, or similar roles

Experience building brand platforms or long-term campaign systems

Strong storytelling and writing ability with the ability to clearly articulate narrative frameworks

Comfort working with research insights and performance data to inform creative direction

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across Product Marketing, Creative, and Growth teams

A strong point of view on what makes brands distinctive — and the ability to balance bold creative ideas with strategic clarity
