Screen Printer (or Assistant Screen Printer)

Our Team .
We have five automatic (M&R) screen-printing lines, four manual presses, more than 100 embroidery heads and a terrific local customer base, so there are great opportunities here for the right person to grow and progress with us.
Qualifications
2 years of automatic or manual screen-printing experience.
Knowledge of color theory with press setup and multi-color registration.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Effective communicator with a positive attitude and demeanor.
Attention to detail, with a passion for making sure things are right.
Experience printing on various garment material compositions with appropriate inks and curing settings is very desirable.
Job Duties
Press Operation:
Master our M&R automatic lines and/or manual presses to produce retail-quality apparel.
Technical Press Setup:
Manage complex press setups, including precise multi-color registration and screen alignment.
Color Management:
Manage precise multi-color registration and screen alignment.
Substrate Calibration:
Select and apply appropriate inks and curing temperatures based on specific garment material compositions (e.g., cotton, polyester, blends).
Quality Control:
Identify and correct defects mid-run to maintain GPSA standards.
Team Communication:
Collaborate effectively with team members through clear verbal and written communication to coordinate production schedules and troubleshoot issues.
Workflow Support:
Maintain a positive demeanor while supporting fellow team members in a fast-paced production environment.
