Description A rapidly growing payroll software company focused on simplicity and service for small businesses is seeking a Business Development Representative to build partnerships, generate referrals, and close new payroll clients. This role is ideal for entrepreneurial individuals who want to develop their own sales funnel, earn long-term residual income, and establish strong relationships with accountants, bookkeepers, and business owners.

What You’ll Do

Prospect and close new small business payroll clients through networking, referrals, and outreach

Build partnerships with accountants, bookkeepers, and local business networks

Visit local businesses and referral partners to generate new client opportunities

Build and manage your own funnel using CRM systems, AI tools, and social selling strategies

Conduct discovery conversations with business owners and guide them through switching payroll providers

Requirements

No prior sales experience required—must have strong motivation and willingness to learn

Excellent relationship-building skills with a trust-based sales approach

Comfortable networking, visiting businesses, and developing referral channels

Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to build a pipeline independently

Tech-comfortable with CRM systems, phone outreach, and AI tools
