Commercial Lines Producer
Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Producer to join a team. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, client-focused environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and contributing to the growth of the commercial insurance portfolio. This is a hybrid position, with the flexibility to create your own schedule and primarily work in the field.
Compensation Package
  • Base Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience (DOE) during the first year.
  • Commission Structure:
    • 50% commission in the first year.
    • Transition to full commission after five years (35% new business, 35% renewal).

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of commercial insurance clients, with a focus on contractors, construction, and generalist accounts.
  • Conduct cold outreach and actively pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Manage accounts with a focus on policies with premiums of $50,000 or more.
  • Utilize lead generation tools and strategies to identify potential clients.
  • Work independently to create and execute a personalized schedule for fieldwork and client meetings.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Active 2-20 insurance license is required.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in commercial insurance sales.
  • Proficiency in AMS360 software is preferred.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of success in generating new business and managing client relationships.
  • Ability to travel locally as needed to meet with clients.
