Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 (Year 1; declines over 3 years to commission-only structure)
- Commission: 40% on new business, 30% on renewals
- Activity Bonuses: Earn additional bonuses (e.g., $1,000 for meeting monthly goals)
- Equity Opportunity: Gain equity in the company once your book of business reaches $250,000
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k)
- Prospect and acquire new business opportunities in the middle-market commercial sector
- Develop expertise in a chosen vertical ("major") and a secondary focus area ("minor")
- Attend sales training programs to enhance skills and industry knowledge
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings and communication
- Meet and exceed sales targets and activity goals
- Experience:
- 3-4 years of B2B sales experience OR
- 2-3 years in a Producer Assistant or insurance-related role (candidates with Risk Management degrees will also be considered)
- Proven experience in prospecting and conducting client meetings
- Preferred: Property & Casualty (P&C) license (not mandatory for candidates with strong sales experience)
