Description Our general contractor client is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to provide on-site leadership and field supervision for commercial and industrial construction projects. This individual will be responsible for managing daily field operations, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining project schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Provide on-site field supervision while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized jobsite.

Lead toolbox talks, safety checklists, and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.

Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship.

Develop and execute site logistics plans and jobsite setup.

Schedule and facilitate weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.

Maintain project documentation including daily reports, photos, as-builts, and drawings.

Manage RFIs, submittals, and change documentation in coordination with the Project Manager.

Coordinate inspections and secure Certificate of Occupancy.

Oversee punch list completion, owner training, commissioning, and turnover.

Develop and maintain project schedules and three‑week lookaheads.

Monitor General Conditions costs and contract compliance.

Requirements

Minimum 7+ years of commercial and/or industrial construction experience.

Proven experience managing projects over $5M.

Solid sitework experience (earthwork, utilities, logistics).

Proficiency with construction scheduling tools (Microsoft Project).

Experience creating and managing three‑week lookahead schedules.

Ability to manage RFIs, submittals, inspections, and punch lists.

Location Permanent position based out of Novi, MI. This is a fully onsite position.

Pay and Benefits Pay range: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00/yr.
