About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Surety Sales to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and acquiring new surety business revenue, with a focus on small to mid-size companies with high revenue. This role involves providing tailored service to clients, participating in team sales situations, and may include managing overall client relationships. The VP will also be expected to assist in the education and development of other staff members in sales and client service, as well as to apply industry technologies to enhance the sales process. A key aspect of the position is the preparation and implementation of an individual business plan and production budget, and the development of interdivision and intercompany relationships.

Applicants for the Vice President, Surety Sales position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years' experience in surety brokerage, carrier, or a related business. A strong knowledge of the surety industry is essential. The role requires the ability to act independently, strong communication, and interpersonal skills. Professional designations such as CEBS, CPCU, CIC, or ARM may be preferred. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing client relationships, have a proven track record in sales, and be capable of working with minimal direction.
