The Company is seeking an Area Vice President for Employee Benefits Sales. The successful candidate will be a key player in the organization's mission to help clients build better workplaces. This role is all about understanding client needs and challenges, and then leveraging the company's value proposition and capabilities to create meaningful change. The Area Vice President will be responsible for acting as an entrepreneur, developing a book of business, and establishing a new business pipeline. They must be adept at consulting with clients, recognizing opportunities for collaboration with subject matter experts, and maintaining a strong presence in the marketplace. The position requires a high level of independence, strong communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with minimal direction.

Applicants for the Area Vice President position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, at least 1 year of related experience, and appropriate insurance licensing. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and participation in the company's Sales Internship Program, or a High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of experience, are also acceptable. Professional designations such as CEBS, CPCU, CIC, or ARM may be preferred. The role demands a candidate who is proactive, and entrepreneurial, and can work effectively with a diverse range of clients and colleagues.
