Job Description The Direct Sales Agent Specialist (Direct Auto Insurance) is responsible for profitable growth and attaining business goals by driving new business sales, understanding customers’ needs, building rapport and trust, and retaining a book of business within the market or retail location. This role attracts and generates new customers, cross‑sells existing customers, and markets products outside the office via calls and in‑person visits.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business sales and understand customers’ needs.
Build rapport and trust, retaining the book of business within the market or retail location.
Attract and generate new customers and cross‑sell existing customers for product offerings including Auto, Life, Auto Club, and Roadside Assistance.
Sell to walk‑in customers, market products via calls and in‑person visits, building community relationships, and assist customers in office.
Minimum Qualifications
0 – 2 years of experience.
P&C licensing (Preferred) or obtain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.
Preferred Skills and Competencies
Successfully close sales of insurance and ancillary products.
Meet and exceed sales goals through new product sales, cross‑sell, and retention of customers.
Leverage community contacts to build a sales pipeline and maintain an active physical presence in the community.
Initiate outbound calling to an established target customer base for product offerings.
Monitor local competitors and suggest initiatives to improve market position.
Work with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes to achieve production and growth goals.
Deliver optimal results within quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance metrics, while complying with policies and standards.
Understand, promote, and remain current on company underwriting guidelines and policy updates.
Receive customer payments, issue receipts, and verify cash drawer reports.

Compensation
Base compensation: $20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
In addition to the base hourly rate, total compensation may include incentive pay, such as commissions and bonuses, based on individual and team performance.
