Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in Mobile, AL, for an Outside Business Development Manager – National Accounts specializing in Logistics and Warehousing. Responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining national accounts, creating and executing strategic business plans, nurturing client relationships to improve customer retention, and providing tailored solutions to meet client needs. The role requires strong communication and negotiation skills to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
Qualifications
Expertise in New Business Development and Business Planning to identify opportunities and create strategic approaches to market expansion.
Proven skills in Account Management and Customer Retention to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and enhance brand loyalty.
Experience managing National Accounts to deliver customized solutions and ensure seamless service across multiple locations.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of logistics, warehousing, and freight services is highly valued.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Prior experience in business development or sales within the logistics or warehousing industry is advantageous.
