Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT

Duration & Type:

Initial 6-month Contract with potential extension or conversion

Compensation:

Competitive hourly W2 rate ( $34-$35 per hour ), with access to healthcare and dental insurance plans

Chamberlain Advisors is partnering with our direct client in the airline industry in search of an

Instructional Designer with strong Workday training experience

to support a large-scale HR technology transformation as part of Project Skyrise, an enterprise-wide Workday implementation. This role sits within the Global Learning team and focuses on designing learning experiences that enable adoption of new HR systems, processes, and ways of working across a large organization.

The Instructional Designer will develop training and enablement solutions for employees, managers, HR partners, and support teams as the organization transitions to Workday HCM and related HR technologies. This individual will collaborate with HR, HRIS, IT, change management, and communications teams to translate complex system functionality and new workflows into effective and engaging learning solutions.

What You Will Be Accountable For

Design and develop learning solutions that support HR technology transformations, including Workday HCM, Payroll, Talent, and related systems. Create role-based training programs for employees, managers, HR partners, and support teams to support enterprise system adoption. Partner closely with HR, HRIS, IT, Change Management, Communications, and vendor teams to translate system design and future-state workflows into learning experiences. Apply Instructional Systems Design (ISD) and adult learning principles to build learner-centered content that supports behavior change and technology adoption. Develop eLearning modules, instructor-led training materials, microlearning assets, job aids, and system walkthroughs. Produce scalable learning assets that support just-in-time learning and performance support within the flow of work. Align learning initiatives with implementation milestones, including system testing, deployment waves, and post-launch sustainment. Track and analyze learning effectiveness metrics and user feedback to continuously improve training programs. Operate effectively in a dynamic transformation environment where requirements evolve and collaboration across multiple stakeholders is essential.

What Qualifications You Need

3+ years of experience in Instructional Design or Learning Development Hands-on experience designing training for Workday implementations or comparable HRIS/HCM systems Experience supporting enterprise system implementations or organizational transformations Strong proficiency with Articulate 360 / Articulate Rise or similar eLearning development tools Experience developing digital learning content, instructor-led training, and performance support materials Strong project management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables Demonstrated problem-solving ability and solution-oriented mindset Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving requirements during large-scale transformation initiatives Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Experience with microlearning platforms such as 7Taps, Synthesia, or Vyond Experience supporting ServiceNow implementations, particularly ServiceNow for HR Familiarity with change management frameworks and technology adoption strategies Experience working within large enterprise organizations Experience supporting phased or agile system deployments
