Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for filing the lawsuit, propounding discovery, handling depositions, mediation, and co‑chairing at trial. Must be a disciplined lawyer and hold an active Texas bar license.
Responsibilities
Attending trials, depositions, mediations, and other court appearances.
Preparing pleadings and motions, and drafting discovery.
Ability to adhere to strict deadlines while multi-tasking.
Settle and negotiate personal injury cases.
Keep clients fully informed.
Accurately value and develop cases.
Document files with notes on CasePeer.
Provide clients with an accurate accounting of their settlements.
Excellent organizational skills and time management are a must.
Be able to work well with legal staff.
Push cases in a timely manner.
Return client calls.
Remain current on state laws and case law.
Skills
Proficient in legal drafting and research.
Strong legal administrative skills.
Ability to conduct thorough legal research.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Experience in litigating cases effectively.
