What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Assist customers inside and outside the employer's center with products and services
Use smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory
Move and hook up trucks and trailers, ensuring customer safety
Clean and inspect equipment, checking fluid levels and maintaining quality standards
Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment
What is Required (Qualifications):
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs
Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training
Availability to work in a moderate-risk environment requiring safety precautions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Previous experience in customer service or related fields
Certification in forklift operation or willingness to obtain certification
Familiarity with U-Haul products and services
Ability to handle customer inquiries effectively and efficiently
