We are seeking a highly organized and meticulous
Federal Proposal Coordinator
to serve as the central point of contact for all proposal development activities, ensuring timely, compliant, and high‑quality submissions to federal government agencies.
Citizenship Requirement
This position requires access to nuclear facilities and information governed by U.S. federal regulations; applicants must be U.S. citizens to meet eligibility and security clearance requirements.
What You’ll Do Here
Manage the entire proposal development lifecycle, creating detailed schedules, outlining deliverables, and tracking progress against deadlines.
Conduct thorough analyses of RFP/solicitation requirements and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to ensure full compliance.
Facilitate collaboration with cross‑functional teams—SMEs, technical writers, finance, and legal—to gather and integrate information.
Contribute to content development, drafting executive summaries, editing technical sections, and proofreading for style and accuracy.
Organize and format final proposal documents, ensuring consistent branding and managing the delivery process.
Maintain and update a central repository of boilerplate text, past performance data, project descriptions, and staff resumes.
Coordinate and lead proposal kick‑off meetings and review sessions (e.g., Pink Team, Red Team) to gather feedback and ensure alignment.
Participate in post‑submission debriefs to capture lessons learned and recommend improvements to the proposal process and tools.
What You Bring To The Team
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, English, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience:
5+ years in proposal coordination or management with government contracting experience, especially RFPs.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with federal procurement processes and FAR, DFARS, USACE, DOD & DOE.
Technical Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Experience with proposal management software (Qvidian, Loopio, InDesign, RFPIO) and SharePoint is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication, with persuasive writing abilities.
Proven project management skills, managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.
Ability to work effectively in a team and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Proactive attitude with strong problem‑solving skills and adaptability.
Must be based in Charlotte, NC or willing to relocate.
