
Social Content Specialist

Position Purpose
The Social Content Specialist will work with the Public Relations team to shape REV’s voice across social channels by assisting in the creation of stories, moments, and information that matter most to our members and the communities we serve. This role will enhance storytelling by assisting in creating content around financial education, #PoweredByREV events, and highlighting the people behind REV. It’s a hands‑on position for someone who enjoys turning everyday moments into engaging content.
Duties & Responsibilities
Serve as a REV Brand Ambassador at community events
Proactively pitch and seek out stories to visually enhance REV’s storytelling abilities
Responsible for storyboarding, content creation, and posting across REV social channels
Capture photos, video, and real‑time content at #PoweredByREV Events
Develop and manage a recurring
financial education content series
that simplifies key financial topics for members and prospects
Create social content independently from concept to execution
Support reputation management by monitoring social channels, and engaging as appropriate
Coordinate with Creative and Compliance teams to secure content approvals
Build and maintain content calendar
Track and report monthly analytics across platforms
Stay informed on social media trends and platform updates
Grow overall followers and engagement across all REV social channels
Work with Marketing Team to maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity resolved
Teaches self‑service options to employees
Assumes responsibilities for related duties as required or assigned.
Skills & Qualifications Education / Certification & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field from a certified university or college
Strong writing skills and a good eye for visual storytelling
Basic graphic design skills with the ability to create on‑brand social graphics and short
Skills/Abilities:
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong presentation skills
Ability to be highly effective in communicating both verbally and in writing
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
Strong problem‑solving and creative thinking skills
Proven ability to collaborate with diverse range of teams
Comfortable working independently and taking initiative in a fast‑paced environment
Confidence capturing content on site and representing the REV brand at events
Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools
High attention to detail and comfort working within compliance guidelines
Willing to travel across REV’s multi‑state footprint to support strategic initiatives
