Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Beneficiary Service Representative to join our team in Aurora, IL. You can be a part of a highly professional North American Disaster Relief team. In this role, you will communicate with beneficiaries within the United States. You will answer incoming calls, respond to emails and assist with processing incoming beneficiary applications. You will work closely with Beneficiary Service Coordinators to ensure highest level of support and assistance for those impacted by disaster. Come and use your gifts daily to advance the Gospel!

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

A day in the life of a Beneficiary Service Representative:

In the role of Beneficiary Service Representative, you will have the opportunity to:

Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.

Take inbound and outbound phone calls to serve homeowners affected by disaster and needing assistance with rebuilding their homes.

Investigate requests and documents services requested based on candidates need, eligibility and other program criteria. Recommends potential recipients for consideration to the U.S. Rebuild Beneficiary Services team.

Communicate and ministers to homeowners, keeping them informed during the application process and assisting in their requests.

Maintain a thorough knowledge of the ministry and supports phone calls for other departments and areas as needed.

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Intermediate technology skills.

Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.

Highly effective communication and written skills.

Ability to identify with and understand another person's experience or point of view.

Ability to accurately prepare and maintain documents, records, files, and reports.

Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve problems.

Skilled in managing one's own time.

Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred, not required.
