Job Description
Samaritan's Purse is seeking a
Beneficiary Service Representative
to join our team in
Aurora, IL . You will communicate with beneficiaries within the United States, answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and assist with processing beneficiary applications. You will work closely with Beneficiary Service Coordinators to ensure the highest level of support for those impacted by disaster.
A day in the life of a Beneficiary Service Representative At Samaritan's Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do! We start each day with a time of devotions and spend time praying for each other, our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.
Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
Take inbound/outbound phone calls to serve homeowners affected by disaster and needing assistance with rebuilding their homes.
Investigate requests and documents services requested based on candidate's need, eligibility, and other program criteria. Recommend potential recipients for consideration to the U.S. Rebuild Beneficiary Services team.
Communicate and minister to homeowners, keeping them informed during the application process and assisting in their requests.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the ministry and support phone calls for other departments and areas as needed.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Intermediate technology skills.
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
Highly effective communication and written skills.
Ability to identify with and understand another person's experience or point of view.
Ability to accurately prepare and maintain documents, records, files, and reports.
Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve problems.
Skilled in managing one's own time.
Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies preferred, not required.

Salary $42,000 - $52,000 per year
