Direct message the job poster from JL Connects President and Partner at JL Connects | Bringing People Together Job Overview This position plays a pivotal role in servicing small market commercial insurance accounts within the Property & Casualty team, under the guidance of the Director of Client Services. Responsibilities include coordinating complex policy transactions, maintaining detailed and accurate records, and providing high-level client support. The role requires close collaboration with underwriters, Account Executives, and clients to ensure seamless delivery of customized insurance solutions. Key Responsibilities Manage assigned commercial accounts, including quotes, coverage changes, renewals, and certificates Review policies and documents for consistency and compliance Communicate with clients and underwriters to address inquiries and gather information Prepare vehicle ID cards, process policy transactions, and support certificate issuance Analyze insurance-related contract requirements Assist Account Executives, complete special projects, and uphold confidentiality standards Provide excellent customer service and contribute positively to the team environment Qualifications Ideally Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience Active and valid State of Michigan Property & Casualty Insurance License 2+ years of experience in commercial insurance account management, ideally handing small market accounts Strong knowledge of middle market insurance products and carrier relationships Proficiency with MS Office Suite, AMS360 and ImageRight; will consider experience with related agency management systems Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills Seniority level Seniority level Not Applicable Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Business Development Industries Insurance Agencies and Brokerages Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at JL Connects by 2x Inferred from the description for this job 401(k) Disability insurance Medical insurance Vision insurance Get notified when a new job is posted.
