Business Development Associate

Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr A leading Investment firm is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as a Business Development Associate on their Investor Relations team. This role will follow a hybrid schedule. Responsibilities: Research and identify potential institutional and insurance clients; initiate outreach and schedule meetings Assist senior team members in developing new business opportunities Support ongoing client engagement by maintaining relationships and facilitating communication Prepare for client meetings, follow-ups, and reporting; assist with investor roadshows and events Identify key industry conferences and networking opportunities; coordinate event participation and follow-up Track outreach efforts and results in CRM systems Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Legal/Compliance, and Marketing to ensure alignment with regulatory standards Stay informed on compliance and regulatory topics affecting client communications Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline 3+ years of experience in business development, investor relations, or client services within asset management or financial services Preferred experience or understanding of insurance clients and strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proactive self-starter with strong organizational abilities Familiarity with CRM systems Seniority level Seniority level Associate Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Business Development Industries Investment Management Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Nextera Search by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Business Development Associate” roles.
