As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling vehicles by understanding and demonstrating their features and capabilities. You will engage with customers, assist them throughout the buying process, and help close sales to achieve or exceed sales goals. This role requires strong communication, sales skills, and dedication to providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities

Greet customers and assess their vehicle preferences and needs. Explain features and demonstrate vehicle operation in the showroom or during test drives. Recommend optional equipment and vehicle accessories to customers. Research available models and equipment to meet customer requirements. Collaborate with the Sales Manager to determine pricing, including taxes, trade-in values, licensing, and financing options. Prepare and complete all necessary paperwork and credit applications. Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand operating features and warranty details. Maintain a prospect development system to follow up with potential buyers. Stay current on new products, features, and accessories. Attend sales meetings and training sessions as required. Comply with company policies and procedures. Meet or exceed sales forecasts and performance targets. Physical Requirements

Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Regularly required to stand, talk, hear, walk, and sit. May be exposed to exhaust fumes or airborne particles. Occasionally lift or move items up to 10 pounds. Requires close, distance, color, and peripheral vision. Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license with satisfactory motor vehicle report. Previous experience in sales, hospitality, or customer service preferred. Strong reading, writing, and communication skills. Ability to interpret business documents, procedures, and instructions. Problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to various situations.
