As an

Automotive Sales Consultant , you will play a key role in driving sales by understanding customer needs and effectively demonstrating vehicle features. You will be responsible for developing potential buyers, closing sales, and delivering a high level of customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Greet customers and identify their vehicle preferences. Explain features and demonstrate vehicle operation both in the showroom and on test drives. Recommend optional equipment to enhance customer satisfaction. Research availability of vehicle models and optional features. Collaborate with Sales Manager to finalize pricing, including taxes, trade-in allowances, and financing options. Prepare required sales paperwork and credit applications. Deliver new vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand operation, warranty, and documentation. Maintain a prospect development system to build a customer base. Stay informed about new products, features, and accessories. Attend sales meetings and training sessions as scheduled. Adhere to company policies and procedures, meeting or exceeding sales goals. Physical Requirements

Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Occasional use of hands for handling, reaching, kneeling, or climbing. Regular standing, talking, hearing, walking, and sitting. Possible exposure to exhaust fumes or airborne particles. Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 10 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision. Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). Previous experience in sales, hospitality, or customer service. Ability to understand and interpret business-related documents and instructions. Strong written and verbal communication skills including report and correspondence writing. Competency in presenting information and responding to customer inquiries effectively. Problem-solving skills to handle various situations with limited standardization.
