Project Director
TouchStone is seeking a highly organized, mission-driven Project Director to oversee day-to-day operations of a signature gathering program in Peoria, AZ. This temporary, full-time position will lead on-the-ground execution of our signature gathering strategy, collect signatures themselves, and manage a team of canvassers and support staff, and ensure programmatic goals are met with efficiency and integrity. Compensation: $5,000/month Reports To: Co-Founder & Partner Duration: January 1 2026 - February 2026 (with the possibility of extension) Location: Peoria, AZ About TouchStone: TouchStone is a voter contact company dedicated to enhancing the integrity of political outreach through cutting-edge technology, real-time data verification, and user-friendly interfaces. Our team is committed to supporting progressive campaigns with innovative tools and high-impact field operations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and daily management of canvassing staff Lead daily briefing and debriefing of field teams and troubleshoot field challenges Track canvasser performance, manage turf assignments, and ensure data quality Collaborate with senior leadership on campaign strategy, reporting, and progress Ensure adherence to all legal and safety protocols Implement accountability systems to support productivity and morale Qualifications: 3+ years of campaign, field, or organizing experience (supervisory experience strongly preferred) Excellent project management and leadership skills High level of comfort with voter contact software, data entry, and reporting tools (NGP-VAN, PDI, TouchStone) Experience managing diverse teams in high-paced environments Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication abilities Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to program changes Willingness to relocate to San Francisco for the duration of the program Commitment to progressive values and inclusive leadership Additional Details: Schedule:
