Business Development Executive, Retained Search Practice - Atlanta, Ga

Our client is a well-established and highly reputable woman-owned professional staffing and search firm based in Atlanta. They are looking to hire a business development executive to add to their retained search practice to focus exclusively on generating new retained search engagements. You will partner closely with the division president to expand the practice, leveraging existing brand credibility, relationships, and marketing support while building your own book of business. What you'll do: Drive new business through retained executive search sales Develop and manage relationships with c-suite stakeholders (ceo, cio, cto, cpo, ciso, cfo, coo, etc.) Leverage existing success stories and brand credibility to win new engagements Build and maintain a strong pipeline of executive-level search opportunities Attend and actively participate in networking events across atlanta and georgia Collaborate with internal leadership and delivery teams to ensure successful engagement kickoff Contribute to achieving division revenue goals (target ~$1.3m annually) What you need: Proven experience selling retained executive search (required) Demonstrated success closing searches at the c-suite level, particularly in technology Experience working directly with senior executives and board-level stakeholders Strong personal network and ability to generate new client relationships Track record of consistent production with minimal job-hopping Confidence and presence to sit across from ceo and senior leadership Highly driven, self-sufficient, and growth-oriented mindset Preferred experience: Focus on technology leadership roles (cio, cto, cpo, engineering, data/ai, security) Experience in nonprofit executive search (ceo, chief development officer) is a plus Familiarity with the atlanta/georgia market What you'll get: you'll step into a division with: Existing credibility and marquee placements Strong leadership and mentorship Clear growth targets and autonomy to achieve them Our client is motivated to hire!
