Special Events And Marketing Coordinator
As a member of the Catalyst Omaha team, you will serve as a brand ambassador, managing external event and meeting space rentals, social media support all while contributing to building exceptional experiences for our tenants and visitors. Primary Responsibilities: Uphold the company's vision and values while consistently following all company guidelines and policies. Foster a strong sense of community within Catalyst Omaha by building relationships with tenants, understanding their needs, and communicating insights to the Community Manager. Manage all aspects of event rentals in the Forge Event Hall and Steelworks Boardroom and Living Room, including responding to inquiries, developing proposals, securing agreements and payment, and maintaining accurate records within the CRM. Oversee event execution from planning through breakdown, including coordinating vendors, managing setup (seating, AV, Wi-Fi access), and staffing events as needed. Provide technical and logistical support for events, including access to the building Wi-Fi network, teleconferencing platforms, and AV equipment. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, service providers, and community partners to ensure seamless event delivery and strengthen connections within the Omaha entrepreneurial ecosystem. Continuously document and improve venue policies and procedures. Support marketing efforts for the property and event venues, including content development and monitoring for social media, website, and newsletters. Assist in the development and execution of tenant engagement programming and community events. Support the Community Manager on other community and building projects, as needed. Maintain shared spaces in a clean, organized, and welcoming condition, reporting maintenance or cleanliness concerns to the appropriate team member or vendor. Be familiar with and follow all procedures associated with the property. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience required. Sales and/or marketing experience preferred. Experience in or familiarity with Omaha's entrepreneurial ecosystem strongly encouraged. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proficiency in social media content creation and audience engagement. Reliable transportation required. Must possess both a valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to The Lund Company's excess liability insurance carrier. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as required by events. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and in person. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong customer service orientation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar creative software preferred. Experience using web-based CRM and event management platforms. Working knowledge of social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
