Position Summary

The Commercial Banking Support Specialist provides direct administrative and operational support to Relationship Managers, ensuring the efficient management of client loan and deposit relationships. This role is responsible for coordinating loan documentation, supporting loan closings, maintaining accurate loan records, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently with both internal partners and external clients. Coordinate and support the processing and closing of commercial loans from origination through funding Gather, review, and organize borrower and entity formation documentation Order and track third-party reports, including flood certifications, tax services, UCC searches, and other required due diligence Prepare compliance documentation and complete loan packages in accordance with regulatory and bank requirements Accurately input and maintain loan and client data within the bank’s core systems Processing loan transfers and maintenance requests Organizing and maintaining complete and compliant loan files Processing Good Faith Deposits Responding to client requests for statements and general account information Communicate independently and professionally with clients, prospects, and internal partners to ensure timely resolution of requests Collaborate with internal departments, escrow, title companies, and legal counsel to facilitate smooth loan closings

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently with both internal partners and external clients. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinate and support the processing and closing of commercial loans from origination through funding Gather, review, and organize borrower and entity formation documentation Order and track third-party reports, including flood certifications, tax services, UCC searches, and other required due diligence Prepare compliance documentation and complete loan packages in accordance with regulatory and bank requirements Accurately input and maintain loan and client data within the bank’s core systems Provide ongoing administrative support for loan portfolios, including: Processing loan transfers and maintenance requests Organizing and maintaining complete and compliant loan files Processing Good Faith Deposits Responding to client requests for statements and general account information Communicate independently and professionally with clients, prospects, and internal partners to ensure timely resolution of requests Collaborate with internal departments, escrow, title companies, and legal counsel to facilitate smooth loan closings

Additional Responsibilities Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in communication, teamwork, and customer service Maintain strong attention to detail, quality of work, attendance, and professional appearance Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations Participate in required training and maintain working knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to financial institutions, including: BSA/AML/CIP Consumer Privacy Regulation CC Information Security Bank Protection Act FACT / Identity Theft GLBA Perform additional duties as assigned in support of the role

Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

Prior banking experience or working knowledge of commercial banking products and services preferred Understanding of various borrowing entity structures (e.g., LLCs, corporations, partnerships) Proficiency with standard business software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and internet-based systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Demonstrated initiative, strong time management, and problem-solving abilities
