Physical Therapy Assistant
Location: Billerica, Watertown, or Chelsea. Employment Type: Full‑time or Part‑time (Monday–Friday, no weekends). Compensation: Starting pay $25 per hour.
Job Description The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will work under the clinical supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive therapeutic services to adults with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
Assist in the delivery of therapeutic interventions under supervision.
Lift, transfer, and maneuver individuals with developmental disabilities.
Document patient progress and communicate needs and objectives effectively.
Qualifications
Current license as PTA.
Associate's degree from a school accredited by the APTA.
Physical strength and dexterity to lift, transfer, and maneuver individuals.
Strong written communication skills.
At least two years of experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
CPR and First Aid certification required.
