Call Center Representative
The Call Center Representative is responsible for handling inbound and/or outbound customer interactions, resolving inquiries, and providing accurate information in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while delivering high-quality service. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity located near Schaumburg, IL. Key Responsibilities: Handled inbound and outbound calls to assist customers with inquiries, requests, complaints, and service issues. Provided accurate information regarding products, services, policies, and procedures while maintaining professionalism and empathy. Documented customer interactions, account updates, and resolutions accurately in call center or CRM systems. Resolved issues efficiently by following established guidelines and escalating complex matters when appropriate. Met or exceeded performance metrics related to call quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Collaborated with team members and supervisors to support service goals and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or call center experience preferred. Strong verbal communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills. Ability to navigate multiple systems while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Dependable, punctual, and able to perform effectively in a high-volume call environment.
