About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Asset Management for its industrial real estate portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the performance of a regional portfolio of institutional quality assets, with a focus on maximizing financial returns. This role is pivotal, as the VP will be the ultimate point of accountability for the portfolio's financial performance. Key responsibilities include negotiating lease transactions, maintaining tenant relationships, overseeing capital improvements, and managing the disposition process. The role also involves heavy travel to various markets within the portfolio.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, with an advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' of experience in institutional real estate, particularly in the areas of leasing and operations. The VP will be expected to prepare and manage property budgets, work with the acquisitions team on underwriting potential deals, and have a proven track record of making hold/sell recommendations. Experience in leading and managing teams of real estate professionals is essential. The position requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of making critical decisions to ensure the portfolio's success.
