Marketing Assistant

(New Orleans, LA): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an entry-level Marketing and Social Media Specialist to support branding, outreach, and digital engagement efforts for environmental services projects and initiatives. This role will assist with content creation, campaign coordination, and communication strategies that promote environmental awareness and company services.
Essential Duties
• Assist in developing and maintaining social media content across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
• Create and schedule posts that highlight environmental services, projects, safety initiatives, and company updates
• Support marketing campaigns that promote sustainability-focused programs and field operations
• Coordinate with project managers and operations teams to gather photos, updates, and project highlights
• Monitor engagement metrics and assist in tracking campaign performance
• Help prepare marketing materials including flyers, presentations, email campaigns, and digital announcements
• Maintain organized digital content libraries including project photos and marketing assets
• Support recruiting outreach through social media and job-post promotion
• Research environmental industry trends to support marketing strategy development
Requirements / Skills
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Environmental Studies, or related field preferred
• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply; internship experience is a plus
• Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and basic analytics tools
• Experience using Canva or similar design platforms preferred
• Interest in environmental services, sustainability, or infrastructure-related industries
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines• Strong organizational and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
• Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and virtual platforms
• Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting up to 15 pounds
