Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic VP to join our Franchise and Owner Relations Group (FORG). In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader FORG team, where you’ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company.

The Role

This role is focused on driving hotel performance in all areas, with emphasis on financial performance, guest service, and brand standard adherence. The role oversees a team of Franchise Performance Leads who maximize Hyatt’s brand value to our owners and operators. The role also supports the development, testing, and implementation of brand initiatives and changes in Rooms, Food and Beverage, Information Technology, and Facility Management for Hyatt’s Classics & Luxury franchise portfolio.

Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions

Lead and inspire the Franchise Performance Leads team to partner with owners and operators to drive mutual success.

Drive financial performance including top‑line sales, revenue management, brand contribution, and efficiency initiatives.

Ensure guest service performance metrics are centered on portfolio health: cleanliness, working order, and customer service.

Advance adherence to brand standards through execution of Hyatt’s accountability programs.

Interface and coordinate with Brand Portfolio Leaders, Managed Field Operations, Americas Performance Hub, Finance, and Design and Construction departments to meet timelines and criteria.

Oversee the screening approval process for new Franchise Operators.

Support Training initiatives with a focus on training compliance to ensure brand protection.

Involvement at a strategic level in all areas of Information Technology implementations current and ongoing in the brands.

Oversee implementation of changes and updates to all areas in Food & Beverage.

Collaborate with brand support on hotel openings and ongoing items and opportunities.

Responsible for management of procurement vendors and new/existing contractors.

Ensure fluent knowledge and implementation of Classics and Luxury Portfolio Standards and Operational Procedures.

Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt’s core values.

Qualifications Experience Required:

Deep financial background with the ability to analyze and assess both portfolio and hotel‑level data

5+ years of Full‑Service Hotel General Manager and/or corporate leadership experience in the Hospitality Segment

Prior experience with contract execution, project management, and facility planning required

Experience Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management or Business preferred

Knowledge of AI Tools and Capabilities

The salary range for this position is $232,500 – $260,000. This position is also eligible to earn an annual bonus. The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
