StartGrowthPartner (SGP) is an outcome-driven event services company helping leading SaaS and technology companies turn events into measurable pipeline. Our clients include companies like Ramp.com, Writer.com, and Gem.com, as well as smaller startups.

We design and run webinars, executive dinners, and curated in‑person experiences. Our proprietary systems focus on sourcing the right audience, not just hosting the event.

Marketing Specialist

who wants to grow quickly inside a fast‑moving startup environment.

This role blends copywriting, event marketing operations, and campaign support. It is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys writing, working with data, and learning how modern B2B marketing actually works.

You will work directly with the leadership team and gain exposure to real client campaigns, event marketing strategy, and growth systems.

Location Remote —

Canada or international candidates preferred

Not open to U.S.-based applicants

Compensation $30,000 USD annualized equivalent

Paid monthly

Time Commitment Expected availability of approximately 40 hours per week

Overlap with Eastern Time (ET) business hours preferred

ResponsibilitiesMarketing & Copy

Write promotional copy for webinars, executive dinners, and marketing events

Draft LinkedIn posts, email invitations, landing page copy, and event descriptions

Help create marketing content and messaging for SGP and our clients

Assist with research on target audiences and industry topics

Data & Marketing Operations

Build and maintain prospect lists based on ideal customer profiles (ICP)

Clean, organize, and enrich marketing data

Help manage attendee lists and event registration data

Work with spreadsheets and marketing tools to track campaign performance

Support the internal systems that power our event audience sourcing

Campaign Support

Assist in preparing event campaigns from launch through execution

Coordinate marketing assets and ensure messaging is consistent

Help analyze event performance and attendee engagement

What We’re Looking For We care more about speed, curiosity, work ethic, and a figuring‑it‑out mindset than specific credentials.

Ideal candidates will have:

Strong writing ability and attention to detail

Comfort working with spreadsheets and structured data

Curiosity about marketing, startups, and technology

Ability to learn quickly and work independently

Good judgment and professional communication skills

Helpful experience includes:

Exposure to SaaS and marketing tools such as Apollo, LinkedIn, Clay, Zapier, Smartlead, or similar

Exposure to event tools such as Eventbrite, Luma, Splash, Zoom, or similar

Familiarity with B2B SaaS or startup environments

Interest in events, media, or community building
