KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Client Strategy & ClosingLead strategy calls with prospective clients to understand their business, goals, and tax situation Identify opportunities to provide value through tax planning and advisory services Present clear, tailored recommendations based on client needs Confidently guide prospects through the decision-making process and close new business Pipeline & Deal ManagementManage active opportunities from strategy call through close Maintain accurate deal status and notes in CRM toolCollaborate with the Sales Administrator to ensure timely follow-up and scheduling Keep deals moving forward and address objections or delays proactively Client ExperienceBuild trust quickly with business owners through clear, professional communication Set expectations around services, timelines, and next steps Ensure a smooth transition from signed client to onboarding Collaboration & FeedbackPartner with marketing and admin to improve lead quality and conversion rates Provide feedback on common objections, client needs, and messaging Contribute to refining the sales process over timeQUALIFICATIONS:3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a consultative or service-based environment Experience working with business owners or B2B clients preferred Strong communication and listening skills Ability to lead conversations, ask the right questions, and guide decisions Comfortable discussing financial concepts (tax or accounting experience is a plus, not required) Self-starter with strong ownership and follow-throughThis role is designed to give a clear picture of what the position involves, but responsibilities may shift as the business grows and priorities change.We offer competitive compensation and benefits that support our team both professionally and personally.EthicsPro Tax | Planning & Strategy is committed to building a team based on merit, respect, and opportunity.
