Order Management Specialist

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Order Management Specialist to join a local team. In this critical role, you will facilitate the seamless processing of customer orders from receipt through delivery, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Process and manage customer orders using order entry and ERP systems
  • Liaise with internal teams (sales, logistics, customer service, and finance) to ensure on-time order fulfillment
  • Track the status of orders and proactively communicate updates to customers
  • Resolve issues related to orders, shipments, or billing discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse for timely shipments
  • Generate order-related reports and maintain accurate records
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and customer experience

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proven experience in order management, supply chain, or customer service
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP/order management systems
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
