About This Opportunity
H2O.ai is seeking a world‑class Vice President of Corporate Marketing to define, scale, and operationalize a modern, AI‑first marketing engine that drives pipeline, accelerates revenue, and elevates our position as the leader in enterprise and sovereign AI.

This role is not traditional corporate marketing. You will operate as a GTM architect and business leader, owning the global corporate marketing strategy across brand, growth, communications, and digital, fully aligned to revenue outcomes.

You will shape how the market understands H2O.ai, translating our leadership in predictive, generative, agentic, and Observable AI into a clear, differentiated narrative that resonates with enterprise buyers across regulated industries.

You will partner directly with the CRO, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer teams to deliver one platform, one message, one motion, ensuring marketing is a primary driver of pipeline creation, deal acceleration, and category leadership.

This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will build and lead a high‑impact, AI‑powered corporate marketing organization that combines brand, demand, communications, and digital into a unified growth engine, while actively executing on all marketing initiatives.

This includes:

Owning the corporate narrative and category positioning

Driving pipeline generation and measurable revenue impact

Building a modern, data‑driven, AI‑enabled marketing machine

Elevating H2O.ai’s presence with customers, partners, analysts, and media

What You Will Do
Own the Corporate Narrative & Category Leadership

Define and scale H2O.ai’s global narrative, positioning us as the leader in enterprise and sovereign AI

Translate complex AI capabilities into clear, differentiated, executive‑level messaging

Drive category creation across agentic AI, sovereign AI, and enterprise AI platforms

Ensure consistency across all external touchpoints: website, events, PR, analyst relations, and sales narratives

Build a Pipeline‑Driving Marketing Engine

Own marketing‑sourced and marketing‑influenced pipeline targets

Design and execute global demand generation programs across digital, field, partner, and ABM channels

Partner with Sales to drive pipeline coverage, progression, and conversion

Build scalable programs aligned to ICP, verticals, and personas (LOB, CIO, CDO, AI/ML leaders, business executives)

Lead AI‑First Marketing Innovation

Operationalize AI across the marketing stack: content generation, campaign orchestration, personalization, and analytics

Build an AI‑native marketing organization leveraging LLMs, automation, and data pipelines

Continuously experiment and deploy new technologies to improve speed, efficiency, and ROI

Drive Global Brand, Communications & PR

Own global brand strategy and elevate H2O.ai as a top‑tier AI platform company

Lead executive communications, media strategy, and analyst relations

Build and maintain relationships with top‑tier outlets (e.g., The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, TechCrunch)

Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on positioning and messaging

Lead crisis communications and reputation management

Scale Marketing Operations & Performance

Build a metrics‑driven marketing organization with clear accountability to revenue

Define and manage KPIs: pipeline, CAC, conversion rates, velocity, ROI

Partner with RevOps to ensure full‑funnel visibility and forecasting accuracy

Optimize global marketing investments to maximize efficiency and impact

Build and Lead a World‑Class Team

Recruit, develop, and retain top‑tier marketing talent across brand, growth, communications, and digital

Create a culture of high performance, accountability, and innovation

Align closely with Product Marketing to operate as one unified storytelling and GTM team

Scale the organization globally while maintaining operational excellence

What We Are Looking For
Experience & Leadership

12+ years of experience in B2B enterprise marketing, with significant leadership experience in high‑growth AI, SaaS, or data platform companies

Proven track record of building pipeline‑generating marketing engines at scale, directly tied to revenue outcomes

Experience operating in companies such as Dell Technologies, NVIDIA, Databricks, Snowflake, leading Global System Integrators (GSIs), or equivalent high‑growth environments

Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage and optimize multi‑million‑dollar marketing budgets, forecast pipeline contribution, and drive efficiency across key metrics including CAC, LTV:CAC, payback period, and marketing ROI

Demonstrated ability to align marketing investments to pipeline coverage, revenue targets, and board‑level expectations, ensuring disciplined spend and measurable business impact

AI & Technical Acumen

Deep understanding of AI/ML, LLMs, and modern data platforms

Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling business value narratives

Hands‑on experience leveraging AI tools across marketing workflows

GTM & Revenue Orientation

Strong partnership with Sales and CRO organizations

Demonstrated success in driving pipeline, revenue, and market category creation

Experience with enterprise sales motions (long cycles, multi‑stakeholder deals, high ACV)

Executive Presence & Communication

Exceptional storytelling and communication skills

Experience engaging with executives, board members, analysts, and media

Ability to act as a public‑facing spokesperson and thought leader
