Overview
The Orchard Golf & Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic, service-minded
Assistant Golf Professional
to join our professional staff. This position is designed for a motivated professional seeking long-term growth within the golf industry. The Assistant Golf Professional will work closely with the PGA General Manager, gaining hands‑on experience in instruction, tournament operations, merchandising, staff leadership, and overall golf operations management.
Experience Required
PGA Associate who has at least completed level 1 and is actively pursuing PGA Membership
Accomplished teacher
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for hospitality.
Previous experience in golf operations
Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and committed to providing exceptional service.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Proficient with Golf Genius.
Essential Responsibilities
Assisting with daily golf operations, including tee sheet management, tournaments, merchandising, and customer service.
Managing and promoting member events, golf outings, and engagement opportunities.
Provide hands‑on management and leadership of the outside golf operations staff.
Provide high‑quality private and group instruction for players of all skill levels.
Enforce club policies, rules, and pace‑of‑play standards.
Contribute to a positive team culture through professionalism and leadership.
