Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the Performance Management Consultant is responsible for performing the more varied and complex technical employee performance management and progressive discipline personnel work and conducting independent consultation and training to all levels of management on performance management processes, progressive discipline, and related HR procedures. The Analyst II reviews, edits, and drafts a variety of memorandums, notices, and other documents related to performance issues.
Working Conditions The majority of the work will take place in a DOR open‑office setting in a cubicle environment, off‑site in the community, at events, and at approved alternate work locations. The incumbent must have the ability to work in an office setting for up to 40 hours per week and remain at a workstation for extended periods while using a personal computer, peripherals, and other office equipment. Strong interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with consumers, the public, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
Classification: ANALYST II
Salary range: $6,031.00 – $7,547.00 per month
Desirable Qualifications
Experience in the progressive discipline process
Experience writing reports and compiling data
Experience in Human Resources
Analytical experience, particularly research and understanding and reading regulations
Experience developing and delivering training
Experience interpreting civil service laws, rules and regulations
Experience documenting findings, proposing solutions, and communicating rationale for management review
Experience working as part of a collaborative team contributing to shared goals
