Retention Marketing Manager - Ecommerce & Membership

Publishers Clearing House (PCH) operates a commerce and membership platform where long-term customer relationships are central to growth. Retention and lifecycle marketing are critical drivers of sustainable revenue and customer lifetime value. We are hiring a Retention Marketing Manager to lead lifecycle strategy across email, SMS, push, and membership communications. This role is accountable for increasing repeat purchase behavior, subscription upgrades, and long-term engagement across PCH Shopping and related initiatives. The role will have access to a number of tools namely MoEngage and Klayvio. What You’ll Own Lifecycle Strategy Build and manage customer journeys: Onboarding; Abandoned cart; Post-purchase; Winback; Subscription upgrade/downgrade flows Membership & Subscription Growth Design and optimize subscription tier communication Support upsell initiatives Reduce churn through proactive engagement programs Campaign Execution Oversee promotional calendar Partner with Creative for campaign assets Ensure consistent messaging aligned with brand standards Reporting & Optimization Track repeat purchase rate, churn, LTV Conduct cohort analysis Continuously optimize flows based on performance data What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days) Improved engagement in at least one automated flow Identified churn drivers and mitigation plan Measurable lift in repeat purchase or subscription conversion Required Experience 4–7+ years in ecommerce lifecycle marketing Experience with CRM platforms (MoEngage a plus) Strong understanding of subscription models Analytical mindset with commercial focus Understanding of Shopify This Role Is Not A social media marketing role A purely creative campaign position without data ownership Competitive salary based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus a range of additional voluntary benefits 401(k) with company match Flexible PTO and 15 paid holidays to rest and reset Remote-first culture with home office stipend 12 weeks of paid family leave to celebrate life’s biggest moments PCH Digital LCC is an equal opportunity employer.
