What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead and implement technical presales engagements for electrical design software in the Eastern and Central US
Deliver live product demonstrations, workshops, and pilot projects tailored to customer use cases
Serve as the technical authority throughout the sales cycle, addressing questions from engineering and executive stakeholders
Collaborate with Sales Reps to drive opportunities from discovery through quotation and support pipeline development
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, supporting software subscription renewals and driving satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field, or applicable sales engineering experience
3+ years of experience in presales, application engineering, or technical sales within relevant environments
Strong understanding of electrical schematics, panel design, and manufacturing workflows
Proven experience delivering technical demonstrations to engineering and executive audiences
Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Familiarity with CAD/CAE, ECAD, or electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical or similar
Willingness to learn about panel shop automation machines and collaborate on related sales efforts
Experience with CRM tools and structured sales processes
