What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Lead and implement technical presales engagements for electrical design software, including demos and proposal support
Deliver tailored product demonstrations and workshops to meet customer needs in electrical design and manufacturing
Serve as the technical authority throughout the sales cycle, addressing questions from both engineering and executive stakeholders
Collaborate with Sales Reps and agencies to drive sales opportunities and provide technical feedback on proposals
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, supporting software renewals and enhancing customer satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field, or applicable sales engineering experience
3+ years of experience in presales, application engineering, or technical sales within electrical design or automation
Strong understanding of electrical schematics, panel design, and manufacturing workflows
Proven experience delivering technical demonstrations to engineering and executive audiences
Comfort with CRM tools and structured sales processes, along with excellent communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with CAD/CAE, ECAD, or electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical or SOLIDWORKS Electrical
Willingness to learn about panel shop automation machines and collaborate on software and machine sales
