What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead end-to-end technical presales engagements for electrical design software in Eastern and Central US
Deliver live product demonstrations and workshops tailored to customer needs
Serve as the technical authority throughout the sales cycle, addressing questions from engineering and executive stakeholders
Collaborate with sales representatives and agencies to drive opportunities and provide technical feedback
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, supporting software subscription renewals and driving satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Industrial Automation Engineering, or a related technical field, or relevant sales engineering experience
3+ years of experience in presales, application engineering, or technical sales within electrical design or automation
Strong understanding of electrical schematics, panel design, and manufacturing workflows
Proven experience delivering technical demonstrations to engineering and executive audiences
Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Familiarity with CAD/CAE, ECAD, or electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical or SOLIDWORKS Electrical
Willingness to learn about panel shop automation machines and collaborate on combined sales efforts
